Hello all, need to seat a bead but I have no tyre fitting goo, what are my alternatives? Didn't want to use washing up liquid as it contains salt and the rims are alloy.
Thanks in advance

Put a small bit of vasealine between your thumb and finger and run it along the bead.

I've used WD40 and just some normal bathroom soap (made into a bit of a lather with a little water) when travelling.

I would use some dish soap/hand soap mixed with some water. You want something that will dry up after the tire is fitted and won't allow the tire to spin.
