Looking for some help wiring up this LED rear tail light with built in indicators for my 1998 CBR 600 F3. I've fit one to my hornet a while ago and used a relay so it was a doddle but this has come with resistors (and a part of the previous owners lights which I don't think is needed!).
I've labelled all the terminals so it will be easier to describe.
So far I've figured out that:
1 = rear tail light itself
2 = indicator (not sure which side)
3 = indicator (not sure which side)
4, 5, 6, 7 = Resistor#1
8, 9, 10, 11 = Resistor#2
12 and 13 look like the previous owner has wired it up to the old rear light as the other end of this wiring has a bulb which has black tape wrapped around it.
I'm under the impression that when I remove my original indicators I will have two wires (+ and -), these will attach to the red and black of the resistors but the other side of the resistor will have a red and black spare, do I just connect either the yellow or blue to the red (+) of the resistor and tape the black (-) up?
I also plan on binning the bulb part with the two wires as I can't see me needing this.
Can't work out why normally indicators use two wires but this new one only comes with one!
Cheers.
