What I learned today...

Good body positioning while taking corners. I couldn't understand before how to use the opposite knee to hook into the tank while taking corners. So I was adjusting and trying various seat positions and BINGO! I found something that worked like a dream. My 40 mile ride back on the A40 was amazing. Taking corners at easily 20mph faster than I was doing it earlier that morning, and it all felt safe and stable... truly confidence inspiring.

So all I did... while keeping the core strong, and arms relaxed was...

Move my arse back about 2 inches in the seat so that my knee fit better under the tank and I could then use it to hook under the tank.

That simple, but wow what a difference it made when hanging off.

Happy as a pig in shit!! Biking has just become 10 times more fun.
