Exactly what the title says. Im in the process of buying some leathers and am after some waterproofs to go over the top. They don't need to be top end as i will only be carrying them just in case. But one or two piece? Any help or suggestions appreciated
Thanks

Also with the two piece you can wear either part on it's own - and if you scuff the knee can get new trousers but jacket is still OK.

Is this for scratching or commuting? If it is mainly for pleasure riding you could look at the Respro Slick.

Or if you are wearing leathers and want to keep dry in shitty weather... You do look a bit like a gimp though Razz They do (or did at least) a clear version, Alpinestars do a clear version and so do Rev-it too. Plenty of options in that respect.

I have always found I slide all over the place in a zip over textile suit, I dont really like the way they feel as a result

I'd be interested to know if anyone has an *actually* waterproof 2 piece set of waterproofs Laughing

I have some cheap 1 piece Hein Gericke waterproofs that I've had for about 5 years, they're still good even after a couple of spills. There is certainly a "knack" to getting them on and off though!

Same as these; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mens-Hein-Gericke-one-piece-rain-suit-/130691085677?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Clothing&hash=item1e6dcbb56d

Yes the design is a bit gash, but it's wind and waterproof and has reflective panels. Thumbs Up

This?

£75 for a waterproof oversuit seems pretty bloody mental to me, considering they're relatively disposable, if you scuff it and it rips you'll need a new one.

Fair enough for track days I suppose when you want the 'performance' of stuff that doesn't flap about.

I got the black 1 piece from the ride product testing reccomended product. BLH Light. Cost me around 40 quid, they seem to have increased since the ride test.

It doesn't look great on, but I wear it under my bike jacket so looks ok. Tested this quite well at 90mph on A roads for an hour in pouring rain and it didn't let anything in. Rain was torrential.

Can't comment on 2 piece.
