alright my problem is when i change gear (especially between first and second) i find that i need to lift my foot off the peg. It's ok on down shifts obviously but moving up i can't keep my foot on the peg without it being unconfortable.

Anyone else in this boat or is it just me? and is there a way to sort it out.

Sounds like your gear shift is too high.
You should be able to take it off the shaft and put it back on slightly further round to suit you.
Hope that helps!

i'll have a look at it later.. i didn't think i'd be able to adjust it on my old bike but it can't hurt to look.

It's just a pain (literally) after a few hours of riding.

Yeah, i found that, its generally due to feet size and riding position. I undid part of the linkage, adjusted the position then did it up again. Problem solved Smile

i'll go out and do that just now Thumbs Up

just another thing.. my left wrist gets sore also at times.. i'm thinking it may be the angle of the bar? is it wise to adjust this and if so is there any torque settings i have to tighten back up to?

well , my gpr does that too because the gear lever comes from infront of the peg instead of the back.

but when i put it back on i willl try setting it differently.
