Return cable on the YBR's snapped last night. D'oh.
Throttle feels very light, and rolls forward quite a lot, about 1/3 turn. What are the chances of the remaining cable snapping on me? Would quite like to do the mayday run, but no hope of getting replacement cable before then. Been riding it like it with the bit of snapped cable removed. Whats the worst that could happen should i carry on with it? Cable cant be there for nothing surely?
Ta much bcf! ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

If you can't get the correct cable from a main dealer, I'm sure you will find something that will do the job at a cycle shop, or even the cycle section at Halfords. The cables are very similar to those used on bicycle brakes and gears, and you can get 'Universal' sets with different ends that will fit almost anything. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)
