Hi my first post, I'm a returning old fart, been working on a derelict Duck monster for about 6 months, nearly ready I'm not.

Anyone tell me what the new bike test will look like when it happens? Does it still involve cones etc?

Cheers, great site by the way

Actually, the plan is to return to a single on-road test by the end of the year, if the DSA can find suitable roads and the H&S Stazi don't block it. Some candidates have been trialling the new single test, but I can't recall if there are details of the full content.

Unfortunately, the "50kph" brake and swerve parts still need to be in it, although Mike "the bike" Penning has already taken a bite out of that by fucking off Brussels and allowing a pass (with a minor) at 48kph = 30mph, so we can actually do them on UK roads.

Am I right in saying that they are introducing more stages before you can get a FULL unrestricted Bike Licence?
Hoping to get my A2 done before January Shocked

Yes. I think.

Pass your test ASAP anyway. No reason that you can't do it within a few months of your CBT unless you procrastinate. They're not that hard, book them, get them done Thumbs Up
