Well I went into Wales today (down to the brecons as it happens) It was a really good ride.

On the way home I was sitting at slightly over the speed limit (ok well full throttle in 6th gear) and an oncoming car with dimmer stickers on his wind screen flashed his lights several times at me. Strange I thought, maybe he was telling me my lights were on, maybe he was a biker that forgot he was in a car? Anyway I thought I best slow down for a bit.

A bit further up the road there was a speed trap with 2 police cars and a bike at the side of the road.

So to this cager I owe my licence and a pint of beer Razz Not all drivers are bad people, keep this in mind next time you get flashed (by a car or bike).

Summer is approaching and the police are going to be cracking down on speeders even more than normal (definately in wales) so take it easy and be careful.

Yup happens all the time around here, it's common practice to do it!

There's one stretch of dual carriageway in Stevenage that is a 40mph limit for no apparent reason (never used to be, and nothing else changed).

You can be pretty much sure that you can go as fast as you like down it, unless cars coming the other way flash their lights!

In North Wales the Chief of Police has a strange hatred for vehicles, especially bikes. So if anyone is thinking of biking around North Wales be very careful as the Police are everywhere. Also some poor bugger hit a car head on and died near Mold this afternoon and two others injured in a separate accident so be careful out there folks Thumbs Up

Was on a Dual Carriageway, and a guy on a Streetfightered Bandit, started waving his arm around like he was about to chuck a Lasoux. Car started to flash and move their hands up and down. Cottoned on he was on about the police, and slowed down, was a Speedtrap and at the speed i was doing i would have lost my Liscense.

So Thanks to those people for helping me keep my liscense Mr. Green Thumbs Up

I know the stretch of road m1ke was on about. Very sneaky. you come down the road seeing the speed van a little way back and you think, phew..... facing wrong way wont clock me. then you go round the bend and there is a line of police bikes and cars ready to pull you.

Take care on the A470 there is many unmarked black volvos, silver fords, and a dark merc. thought i was getting pulled my self a month back. i pulled in to the hard shoulder. then he pulled back out to respond to the 2 car crash that just that second happened on the other side of the dual-carriageway.
