So getting back on after a few weeks off with arm fracture and can't wait. Thought I'd have the fear with it being first time I've come off but fine.

Anyone had the fear of getting back on or does it just not happen?

No fear of getting back on, I really wanted to get out and ride again, but after I was fully healed and back on two wheels I found I didnt like left handers anymore.

On slow rides it was never an issue, until I tried to pick up the speed and realised.

Never had a problem with getting back on a bike although I did (subconsciously) give up riding on the road due to too many bell ends knocking me off and now only use a bike in competition.

I had a short period of the "ghey" after a spill.

Even though I came off on a big patch of black ice, I had no confidence in the traction of my tyres on anything but clean dry roads.

Depends on why you crashed I guess.

Fell off... first concern was the bike. Would've ridden it with the pot on, but the doctor said it essentially invalidated my insurance. Had to wait nearly six weeks, over the good-sunny weather too. All the time dying to get back on the bike.

I think killing myself is the only way I'm gonna have issues getting back on it.

I did at first, but I had to ride it back from the dealers in the end, after 5 minutes I was fine Smile

When I had my first off, my bike wasn't too bad so I rode it home so I never got the fear of starting to ride again. I (stupidly) carried on riding in the snow with my arm in a cast after fracturing my left wrist. I just adjusted my clutch to bite quicker and wore bigger gloves to go over the cast Smile

Not sure of the legality of that but I couldn't wait 7 weeks to ride again...
