help please..

i've found a cg125 for sale for 600 quid on biketrader, it seems pretty perfect for me with low insurance, a person i know says bikes from london tend to of been thrashed and are wrecks, its done 19k miles...could it be a bad idea? it says in the ad its a reliable bike..

the cg125 is a very reliable bike, honda's single 125cc 4-stroke engines are regarded as being one of the best engines ever made, in a recent mag (cant remember which one) that engine cam second in a test searching for the best engines ever made (coming second only to yamaha's 20 valve R1 lump)

Altho the london thing may be an issue, i don't live in london and have little experience of the ridding there...but i would imagine a cg being ridden in london, is no different to a cg being ridden anywhere else in the country... it depends on how its been treated, and anybody can miss treat a bike.

my advice would be, go and take a look at it...even have a ride if you can, check for service history...the more recent the better.

the milage is reasonable...as it should pretty much go on for ever.

so just go take a look...and see what u think.

I cant belive the yamaha engine beat the cbr600 engine or the gsxr1100 engine.

lol yeah kev, but i supose the cbr600 lump..is just a standard inline 4 600 at the end of the day.

the whole 20 valve thing must have been hard to make etc??

(not that ive seen one up close)
