Cagiva Mito 125

My 18month driving ban is coming to an end soon and I'm thinking about getting my Cagiva Mito Evolution back!

I only had it for 6 months the last time I owned one. Anyone got anything good or bad to say about them!?

Are they any good for long trips? I know they're are not ideal but surely they could hack it? Would they do for example London > Manchester? How many breaks would I have to take in case I blew the engine!?

Hi

It would probably do it, but London and back would be a 300 mile round trip. It would not take many of those to build the miles up to the point where a new set of rings would be a good idea. Also it is not going to be a comfy bike for such journies.

I would say keep to a sensible speed and vary the revs a bit (so the power valve is not just open the whole time).

P.s. how do you know if the power valve is open or not-is it just at a certain speed?

It is just open above certain revs. Cannot remember what revs on the Mito.
