I can neither confirm nor deny the accusations that I stopped off on the way back from the municipal dump, to purchase some black sacks.

This is long and prolly a bit boring, but I was impressed with my writing skills.
I had a similar argument with another resident (Knobhead) where i used to live.
We had to pay a service charge for the household waste to be collected.
He complained to my landlord about me spilling some oil, which i did clear up.
Email from Knobhead, to my landlord.
Quote: | Afraid CaNsA has had yet another accident with oil spill in front of your garage. He has made a sort of attempt to soak it up using soil, hoping that will soak up the stain ? Unfortunately that car park area is now look even more like the floor of Dudlow garage, and not acceptable. I'm now away for a week, if there is no improvement when I return then I will discuss with Thomson & Molton, I believe they have a contractor able to gunk and steam clean the area, not sure of the costing but will advise you prior to instructing. |
My reply.
Quote: | Yeah i have spilt some oil, yeah its not the 1st time. Funnily enough i will always clean it up. I tend to use a proven method of utilizing the acidic properties of Coca-Cola. I clean it up as i am aware that it can make the estate look like that people live there and that they have hobbies. If knobhead or his wife continues with these "threats", or they shout at me from their balcony, or come bouncing down to the garage after i ask either of them to come and speak to me and not shout down to me from the balcony i fear i may have to put a formal complaint as the actions of Knobhead and Knobhead's wife tend to make me feel i live on a inner-city council estate.
I would also like to raise the issue of "why i am not allowed to use any bin bar the one designated for my block" and "household waste only". It would be interesting to hear what i have put into the bin that would warrant such a rule being enforced so rigorously that the following events took place.
On Sunday (a day that most people usually carry out the following type of activities) I cleared out the garage that you have kindly let me use for storage of my motorbikes, amongst other items, and required the use of of a large bin to dispose of the rubbish. I collected the closest residential large bin to the garage and Knobhead's wife shouted at me (from the balcony) saying i am not allowed to use their bin (not communal then?) and that i should take the waste to the tip. I explained that i do not own a car and therefore it is not an option. I returned the bin to the storage area and collected the bin closest to the property i rent from you and pushed it along the road to the garage which caused some noise and no doubt caused distress to many of the hard of hearing, elderly residents.
This rubbish consisted of cardboard boxes that were flatten, leaves, dust, empty cans, cigarette boxes, old bedsheets, and other waste that you will find in any house. My friend is a Police Constable and was helping me. He climbed into the bin to make room for the other tenants to place their waste in there. Knobhead decided to shout at me from his balcony mentioning something about rubbish being stuck in the bin and again when i asked he come and speak to me his reply was "Oh I'll come down there!".
He proceeded to come downstairs displaying an aggressive stance and a very threatening expression which i can only imagine was intended to invoke a fear. He was unsuccessful. My friend wanted to return when he was next on shift to have a word with Knobhead about his behaviour and a section 5 (breach of the peace) would be issued as Knobhead was displaying anti-social behaviour. I have asked my friend not to do this, but i cannot guarantee he will not and nor can i be held accountable for the actions of the Merseyside Police Force.
Surely the waste removal company, that is paid for by the service charges, use a tried and tested method of removing the waste from the bins. If not it maybe a good idea for Knobhead to use his time in a more productive manner to find a waste removal company that can remove waste from large bins. Also, the waste company bin lorries spill diesel all over the road every week. Diesel spills are one of the greatest hazards to motorbike riders as it makes the surface incredibly slippery, causing the loss of grip and subsequently damage to the vehicle as it goes sliding down the road in a shower sparks and plastic that is very costly to repair.
Another hazard are the large nails that have been left all over the paths and road on the estate after the roof replacement work has been completed. My friend had to remove one of these from his brand new rear tyre (less than 50miles usage) that cost him in excess of £165. This tyre could not have been repaired safely and had to be replaced. I highly doubt the estate funds will be used to reimburse my visitor. |

the flat i live in completely defeats the point in recycling
we were told when we moved in everything could go in one bag and wouldnt be any plastic/glass/paper waste disposal for the 12 flats.
if were really concerned we could go to the dump with it
but i dont as i cant really carry that stuff to the dump on my bike ... anyway yea you just just double black bagged the stuff and left a nice bit of mouldy cheese in there for when the collect ____________________ Current bike: Honda CBR 600 F3

That's silly, it's only a bit. Sounds like they're being dicks.
back in my nobby builder days we used to fill up everyone's bins on a street we worked on to save buying a skip, the client never cared as they were usually indians who wanted it on the cheap
I had a binman yell at me when I wa sputting bags in it "IF ITS TOO HEAVY TO CARRY ITS TOO HEAVY FOR THE BIN"
"ITS NOT TOO HEAVY TO CARRY, SEE! *puts in the bin*"

I put some some sawdust bedding material in the brown garden refuse bin.
There was a note attached to the handle and it wasn't emptied.
The note said " Bin not emptied due to Non Organic material"
Contacted the council to ask what was non Organic about sawdust. After several emails, they couldn't answer and eventually said the bin is for garden refuse only
They also didn't collect the bin at work, again I contacted the council and they said the bin wasn't accessible, it was in exactly the same position it always is.
They tried to tell me it would be a fortnight before it was collected next. I pointed out the binmen empty the KFC's bin daily only just over the road and have their lunch break there. It was emptied next day ____________________ I haven't had a cont all day, drinkstable. |

Absolutely, what is it about these types who man the recycling stations? I can't go there without getting some sort of bollocking for stupid shit. I treat a trip to the recycling centre as more like a special forces surgical strike operation, where you have to get in, complete the mission, and exfiltrate without being spotted.
Keeps me entertained, anyway ...

Mr Man just rocked up with a new bin and to take my one away.
However, they didn't realize I had a king size 340l wheelie bin. I declined a smaller one on the grounds that it is their fault for switching to fortnightly collections. I needs me a big 'un!
He is coming back Friday instead. He also moaned about the 'bloody contractors' and also felt bemused at the 'builders rubble' claim.
Close to resolution though. I will keep the shitty nappies on stand by for the council HQ doorstep. ____________________ My fingers smell of your mum. |
