hi im looking at buying this bike for my first bike:
https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/kawasaki-zx6r-only-11k-miles-brilliant-condition/99371403
Was wondering what u all thought. He said i could have it for £1000, has no tax and 2 weeks mot but only done 250 miles since last mot. He said the only thing wrong with it is sometimes he has to hold clutch in to start the bike, is this a problem really?
i also look at when i come to sell the bike because when i become pregnant im obviously going to have to sell the bike so would like to get somewhere near my money back?? ____________________ KG |

I'd wonder why it's only done 250 miles in a year, and more to the point, why he's not put an MOT on it (or did he, and it failed big style?). "Just not riding it" is a common enough story, but you're taking on all the risk.
You can use the document reference number from the V5C to check its MOT history online, including refusals.
It could be a peach or a lemon, you're going to have to judge it on condition.
You're aware that's a 152mph bike, right? It's not a prettified commuter, it's a slighty softened track racer. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
