Hey all fingers crossed I will have a new toy arriving first week of June. Is up north so they delivering it with another job for me Smile
It's a black 2007 R6 with red highlighting.
Is pretty much standard from new.

first year anniversary present! I Can't really just buy dinner now lol.

Got a list of things I want to do to make it different from stock and just subtle.

Want to put some Pazzo shorty levers on.
Tail tidy.
Frame sliders.
Black screen.
Stubby silencer.
Rear seat cowl.
Knee grips on tank etc.

Is there any decent places people would recommend that they have bought from before? Not bothered about bits being second hand though so if you know of stuff going for sale let me know.

Prefer the look of aftermarket exhausts and not the stock ones. Know the silencers don't have power gains but is only me preferring the look.
Seen the akrapovic megaphone they any good?

Always bought bikes with work already done before so is a novelty to make it my own now.

Feel free to post your photos up of any stuff you have done to your r6 Smile

Thanks all!!

Silly question here but why don't you ride it first and then decide what mods to make? I've recently bought a Daytona and so far only identified a need for tank grips, an some time spent setting up the rear suspendion. That's it!

maybe your present to her would be showing her your happiness buy using the money to buy yourself the above wishlist Laughing Cool .
Also, an aftermarket can generally will create a slight power increase, generally between about 5-7bhp, but the exact test would be before & after Dyno's.

As for getting the parts, try the R6 Forum: https://www.r6-forum.com/,
always people getting rid of stuff cheaper on forums Thumbs Up, will come in useful for any specific queries you may have too.

3rd eye? There a perspex window or something apparently and a space for a bulb to go? Would it need some sort of ready made set up wiring into the lights to get something like that installed?

No way you're liberating 5-7bhp with just a can. 1-2bhp tops, especially on a 2CO R6 where it's the cat that's the bottle neck in the system. If you want a cheap way of junking the cat fit some 5SL (2003-2005) R6 headers, it'll give you a small power boost with a race can, but I'd definitely get it mapped if you do that. It'll be louder as well. Importantly it should boost the mid range a bit.

Was so tempted to get the red & black 07 R6, they're fucking lovely!

Ended up getting an 07 zx6r instead (price was too good to turn down)
