So, after my MOT, it was said that my discs are warped. I could feel it very slightly if I dipped the clutch at higher speeds.

I've just fitted some discs. The guy said they were straight but if they did turn out to be warped, he would refund them.

So I've fitted them and something is horrible. The bike shakes like mad and serious pulsing at the lever, so warped disc symptoms.

My thoughts are that maybe the pads have worn to the slightly warned discs and now when I put straight discs on, the pads are out of shape so they show signs of warping? The pads are new so ideally I don't wanna replace them but if I do that's just life.

What do you guys think?

Never heard that, else I wouldn't have asked the question. But congratulations on wording it like an asshole Thumbs Up

Next question is riding it like it is gonna damage the bike?

The pads won't give the feeling of warped discs. The only reason you put fresh pads on with new discs is make sure the discs and pads wear evenly.

Take them off, if the bike shaking like mad then what happens if you need to perform an emergency stop? You'll either not be able to stop or lock up and lose the front and slide under that car/truck/tractor

If you have fitted good discs and you are still having trouble, you need to check the wheel bearings.

Well I had slight troubles with braking anyway, whereby even though the brakes are bled properly, they still feel spongy, like you have to pull the lever in quite a bit for it to do anything.

Passed the MOT with no bearing troubles and I did double check but all seems well on that front.

With the new discs, at the high points (just pushing it) the brake felt as it should. Then obviously it dipped at through low points.

Swapped the discs back over, glad to have some consistency back. I'm gonna get a new set of pads and see where I go from there. Won't be able to do it til Friday now but will post the results up.

Forgot to mention the current discs (ones that don't give reaaallly bad results) don't float properly on their rivets, if that makes any difference?
