basically long story short I failed my mod 2 Monday
absolutely gutted went out from Redditch was hammering with rain I was absolutely soaked having rode from Stratford all was going well even in the shocking conditions for a test independent ride was good even though I had to stop 3 times for examiner to give me more instructions as it was 3 turns at a time because there are no specific signs to follow I assume ???? anyways independent ride all good normal riding all good get on by pass all good then I got boxed in by a lorry in outside lane 66mph limited and woman in front starts slowing down shocking visibility and I couldn't get round then I hear the examiner say something I couldn't make out so rolled off throttle and carried on with test realised it must of been because I crept up on the slow ass woman in front of me got back to test centre and yup sure as sh*t I failed for following distance I only got 2 minors apart from that!!!!! what a nightmare test fee down the pan and got to take another day off work

still raging with myself now what a stupid mistake to make especially in the shocking rain

will post a diagram when I get time but basically I was following the car at around 60 maybe slightly less due to the bad visibility the van started to overtake me and a car crept up behind me and car in front started slowing up even more down to around 50 so I couldn't overtake and had to slow down I should of rolled off the throttle and kept back but a lack of concentration meant I crept up on the car in front and got failed for my following distance being too close it was a school boy error should of known better really
oh well hopefully weather is better on next test I hope

10 days before you can take a retest I've got next test in two weeks so not too bad instructor said dont worry about another lesson it was just a bad judgement call and lack of concentration my least favourite thing in the world is riding in the rain
