Manchester/North West green laners

[KLR600]

I'm getting pretty close to buying an enduro bike. I've seen that there are a few dedicated enduro/motocross tracks within riding distance of me (currently living inside the M60) but I wanted to know if anyone rides any lanes that are anywhere near Manchester?

I dont know if it is still a green lane or not but up rivington barn i used to see off roaders all the time enjoying the lanes.
