A decent (and not overly expensive):

Pair of waterproof, warm gloves.

Waterproof trousers (preferably with armour too)

Waterproof boots

Seems my 2 year old Spada boots and Aldi trousers and gloves have given up the ghost finally. After today they don't so much leak as invite water in for a swim Twisted Evil.

Any advice much appreciated!

What's your budget per item?

£300-£350 all together, £50ish for gloves, £100ish for boots and £200ish for trousers.

But I'm flexible, rather pay more for a good product that skimp and regret it later (Aldi taught me this!)

spend a bit extra and get biketek heated gloves. Theyre great, goatskin, waterproof and breathable, very comfy and warm even with heating turned off but then for really cold days the warmth makes a huge difference. I can ride for hours in any weather and i don't even start loosing the feeling in my fingers.
