Which Mito you got, not that it matters much! I'd guess it's a newer model as nearly all old bikes are de-restricted by now...

If it's the 6 speed Evo2 (99+ model) then it will need the chamber hacking off the side of the exhaust and a plate welding over it - easily done by anyone with a saw and a welder! Some say you need to change the snorkels on the airbox lid to bigger ones and then up the jetting from 100 or 110 to 120 for the main, and from 55 to 65 on the idle (?) jets. Though them last 2 aren't neccessary, but if you do the airbox you must change the jetting otherwise it will run too lean and you'll hole your cylinder! Jets can be picked up from almost anywhere, but if you are struggling contact Craig at CMP Racing (he also runs the 125 forum above) and he should be able to sort you out. The de-restriction kits are expensive for what they are and it's cheaper to source from elsewhere. You also get different sprocket's in the kit but they aren't needed, and I found 13:38 to be the best setup for when you come to replace them.

If it's an older 7 speed bike then it should just be the exhaust that needs doing.

Cheers Walshe do you know of anywhere I can get some pictures showing people actually doing the derestriction because I ain't exactly the best with the whole mechanics side of riding. It's somthing I wish to improve on but for now I'm just going to have to suffice. Any help of the visual kind would be a great help as otherwise it'l cost me a bomb an I dont have any to spare. Thanks "Cagiva Gizza" but I went to the site an couldn't make heads or tales of where the stock list is to be found and without any other reference I can't really do Jack. What are your opinions on running in a bike? I don't intend on derestricting it until I've properly ran it in but I've heard stories about not going past 6,000rpm until after 500 miles. Karma Peace out D Karma
