Disagree, why do you think it is worth only £850?? Shocked

I think its a fair price if it is as described, with a years MOT plus new tax and new service!

EDIT: Show me that bike in the same condition with a new service, MOT, tax and similar mileage and alarmed that I can buy now for less than £900.

If you can show me that, I will show you my gooch!!!

I'd say overpriced by a year ago standard but at the minute people seem to be pushing for ridiculous money for 1000-2200 price range bikes even though the market doesn't seem there as not many seem to sell at top whack pricing.

I have exactly the same model with 12000 on the clock and bog standard.
Mine is tidy but not as shiny as that one and I would be insulted if someone genuinely offered me £850 for it.

with Tax and a fresh MOT on mine, I`d want £1500+ so I dont think that one is so badly priced.

personally i thik the bike is worth around the £1k mark, i don't see it being £500 overpriced, as there are the likes of the old SRAD's etc making just over the £1k mark still.

the ZX6 is a pretty capable bike, won't leave you needing more for a while.

Seems like an extremely fair price to me. Looks pretty tidy, new tyres, recent service, full MOT. I bought my 99 ZZR6 for £900 and it ain't exactly tidy.

To think you can now buy Ninjas of that quality for £1,000 ish is amazing; provided you have a little bit of mechanical know how, biking is definitely getting cheaper whilst still having quality bikes.

I would say it is a bit overpriced. I am selling a 2002 A1P model 636 with less miles on it for less money than that. Granted mine is SORN currently, but even so for about £80 it would have T&T and be a ride away bargain

I would consider the price I want for my bike to be at the bottom end of its actual value (to clear out) so an even older, less specced bike is pushing it

Overpriced a year ago for sure but I've not looked recently so maybe they've gone up.

Before I bought my G2 (£800, lowish mileage and mechanically solid but tatty as hell) I had looked at another one that was basically a minter and it went for £1200 on Ebay. I wanted a tatty one so I left it Laughing

I bought a bloody nice one with 23k on the clock in febuary for £1175, only thing it needed was a front tyre.

Looking at what they are going for now though I'd say to try and aim to pay 1400-1500 for that bike.

Happy to go give the tyres a kick if want timbo? It was actually one of the bikes i was considering viewing this weekend but ended up buying a hornet instead.

There is also this one a bit nearer to you which the guy sent me pictures of which i thought was a nicer colour, cheaper and looked very tidy from the pics he sent me. No tax or MOT though...
