Bad Points
10 years old Kawasaki, showing on metal areas:
Footpegs, swingarm have flaking paint in places.

Wheels are the single worst part of this bike, flaking off heavily in places, difficult to keep clean in the centres as a result and in need of painting or powdercoating to look good again.

Good Points
Wicked engine, despite age it pulls well.

Comfortable for long distances, being the only 636 in this shape before they went really cramped

This bike has been abandoned since getting my ZX10R, I used it a few times over winter but other than that it has been stood, covered and started up every couple of weeks just to make sure it runs ok. My plans to take both wheels off and have them re-powdercoated never happened and this is something I would urge the new buyer to do as IMO this would make the bike look so, so much fresher.

Being used for reviewing, along with my old ZX6R, this bike has (until recently of course) seen regular use, many days a week and in all weather, it is fast, reliable, comfortable but sadly underpowered for me these days after buying the big beastie.

I banged a DP Kevlar race clutch in less than 500 miles ago as part of an article feature I was writing, it had an oil and filter change at the same time and I refreshed the K&N Air filter, it also comes with a load of extras as listed.

As it is on SORN there is no T&T, this expired a couple of months ago, MOT will sail straight through with no worries (never had any problems before) and obviously you will need to have it insured to be able to tax it and run it on the road - I am not responsible if you decide to buy and ride it home without and advise against doing so

Anyhoo, this is a cracking bike, loads of others are listed at considerably higher prices - including older bikes with more miles
