Hi,

I thought I should sign up and introduce myself after looking at the forum for a few months now.

I'm Emily and from Sheffield. I've been riding just over 12 months now. I passed my A2 test in Dec 2011 and I currently own a Kawasaki ER-6N.

I will be looking for local meets and rideouts and look forward to finding some new biker friends! Very Happy

Safe riding!

Emily.

Welcome, but what I want to know is...why go to all the trouble of giving yourself on online nickname only to tell the world your real name??? Confused

Weird. So many of you newbies are doing it... it's bizarre...! So alien!

Ah well... make sure you venture into the rest of the forum, and get to know the other people who post here. Thumbs Up

While I see what you mean, I often prefer to know who I'm talking to rather than a nickname. I guess you could then say why not just use my real name then!

There are literally hundreds of Emilys' in Sheffield so it's not like my whole identity is on show to everyone!

I've been known by my nickname for many many many years...even people who know my real name still call me clanger. Cool

millymols wrote:

Yes...why not just call yourself Emily?

As for your identity, it's yours...whether you are bothered who knows it, makes no odds to me. Cool
