Assuming you have no bills nagging and you can't save it, what would you blow £1000 on?

£500 on booze and strippers and just waste the rest.

Seriously, I'd use it towards some sort of holiday, probably a bike tour.

Arrow Fix the woodworm infestation in my loft.
Arrow Insulate and floor the loft.
Arrow Erect (lol) a 2metre fence around the garden.
Arrow Sort the garden out.
Arrow Decorate kitchen and bedrooms.
Arrow Summer bike tour to Eastern Europe.
Arrow Buy an off-road bike.
Arrow Go on a holiday.
Arrow Buy a better car.

All of the above things I am looking to do but probably only have the money to do 1 of them at the moment. Crying or Very sad

I'd use it to buy a bike.
But I'm going to do that anyway, so I suppose that counts as saving it.

£1k really isn't much nowadays.

I'd probably go around Europe for a few weeks or something.

If I had a spare million I would open a cheap booze warehouse just this side of the Scottish border and sell on to Jock booze runners.

Probably a weeks diving in malta.

A grand would probably tempt me to go to india for a week (would only have enough to stay somewhere cheap and sleazy mind). Doubt there would be enough left over for spends though.

Failing that, replacing the gear that got nackered when I tumbled off the bike is a pretty high priority for me.

Pack a bag of clothes and essentials and see how far I can get on public transport through Europe.

Then ask for another £1000 to get back home Smile

already got a martin DX1 and yes I have my eye on a D28 12 string but as the thread is about spending 1k and the D28 is 2k
I couldn't afford it and I don't really play Electric's
so I'd buy a couple of peavy power amps that I can use as I've bought a PA rig & lighting rig
that I'm setting up to hire out, working in IT is great and pays well but not as much fun as live gigs

Buy my bike. But since I've saved up 75% of what I need already, I'd probably buy some more gear instead, boots gloves and 1-pc leathers, or other stuff for the bike
