This is not the first time I've seen it but there was a second hand exhaust I was watching on eBay and it sold for £170....you can buy it direct from the manufacturers for £150 shipped!

Another time I saw a seller sell an item for £40, I clicked on his other items list and saw he had the exact same item for £12 buy it now Laughing

Moral of the story? Bloody look around before you buy/bid!

I once flea-bayed a Harry Potter video for 40 quid, they were selling in Tescos for £17.99 at the time and readily available.

Yes people really are that thick!

Slightly different - Some cock has a radiator cover on Ebay I like the look of, inc postage at £55 - new from Beowulf its £58 with postage.

So I emailed him and asked if the price was correct and I'd give him £30 as new its the same price. He replied saying I could have a £5 off - utter tit - he has been relisting it for weeks.

Pan euro mirrors will sell for £40 used, even without glass they can sometime reach £30.
Last one i bought was £34 from david silvers.

Same as front indicators, they'll go for £25 like this one listed here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-ST1100-PAN-EUROPEAN-1990-02-LEFT-INDICATOR-SIGNAL-UNIT-/230782142931?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item35bbb009d3

David silvers, £17.50 https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/ST1100AX-ABS-PAN-EUROPEAN-1999/part_78945/

People seem too retarded to look anywhere else. If it's on ebay it must be cheap.

I've learn to never under estimate the ignorance/inconsiderateness of people.

Everyone is a ignorant individual. Nobody cares about anything outside of their own little bubble, no matter how ridiculous their attempts really are in the wider picture, i.e. the real world. No wonder the government get away with ripping us off for things like petrol (best example off the top of my head) because no-one is able to pull together for once to fight a larger power. So long as everyone's day goes alright their happy. People are selfish and ignorant, it's just the way we are.

There are things that are much easier to find on Ebay.

I'd rather pay an extra couple of quid than to go through ten pages of google searches for items that actually have sellers located in this wank country.

You didn't buy a Harry Potter video off flea-bay a few years ago by any chance?

it's lazyness and complacency that causes most of the sellers to do well on ebay, people are just too damn lazy to spend 30mins finding a better deal - it's the buyers fault if they pay the stupid prices.

have you noticed the increasing amount of people calling there bikes cafe racers or adding cafe racer to the title of there add on ebay.
cannot blaime them really for some mystical reason it seems to double the going price of a piece of shit banga standard bog machine
not a rare piece or anything just a everyday piece of crap run down neglected sports/tourer/cruiser

Ah, but sellers now get rodded by eBay, with listing fees (if not free), final value fee, then Paypal fees, and eBay even have the nerve to fix the postage price in some categories. eBay is no longer worth selling stuff on.

never thought of that, good point.

it's not just bike stuff (obviously Rolling Eyes )

I had a fishing book once that I paid £9.99 for. About two years later I sold it on 'bay for nearly £18!
The book is still available everywhere for £9.99!
Cool

Hacks me off no end, especially when a simple search brings up used and new stuff on the same page, and cretins still manage to bid more for the pre-abused. It makes it far harder for us full-wits to scoop bargains any more.

I do make a point to message such winning bidders to 'congratulate' them on their shrewd bidding acumen. Thumbs Up
