They used to run drag racing events at an old airfield near to where I live. A guy turned up to that with a Caterham powered by 2 fireblade engines, it was really flying until one engine packed up. That kind of slowed it down a bit.

Not sure how they'd got that to work gearbox wise, it was definitely a sequential box though.

These people have been using Busa motors for a while, and currently hold the outright lap record around the full Nurburgring in a Turbo powered version of their SR3.

Used to do some work for them a couple of years ago. Know some of the people there. Very quick and superb handling sportscars. You can actually get them for the road now too. Shocked

Edited to say, Oh yes, forgot, the SR3 Turbo has a power to weight ratio of 600bhp per ton... Oo-er.

Dax do a hayabusa car. Its offically the fastest thing about. Its a hayabusa turocharged. Twisted Evil Think its called the DAX RUSH.

There is a "lotus 7" style car at my work which I noticed had the blue R1 end can. Odd I thought and found out it was an R1 engined beast with sequential box - nice.
