So in the current episode of "what's wrong with my CBR" the rectifier blew up. Rode it without for a while, drained the battery.

Replaced the rectifier, bump started the bike, started, then died but weirdly idled at 1krpm exactly for as long as I could hold the throttle open. Then wouldn't idle at all.

Tried jump starting it from a car... no lights, no ignition, nothing. Checked fuse box, nothing blown. Got frustrated and went inside. Wondered about a main fuse but couldn't find one, was pointed out to me there's one in the starter solenoid... replaced it and voila! We have life! For how much longer, who knows?

Good job the fuse was blown really... I tried to start the bike from a running car...

Don't advertise the fact chat works. Anything over 20 and it is unusable.
