Bloody weather!

I'm sulking!

I was booked in to have the bike have its first service today. But the weather was dreadful this morning and it was way too slippy to drive the 100 miles up the A1 (with artics and loony reps) in the pouring rain just for a 20 minute service.

So, I'm booked in for next Wednesday now instead.

I just want to get it done so I can open it up a bit when the better days/evening arrive.

Sorry, rant over. I'll get back in me box now!

If you don't want to do the miles you could always book it in to a local Yam dealer and pay for it. It won't cost a fortune for a 1st service. Think my 4k service on the Blade was only about 80 quid.

Weather is starting to do my head in now though, especially as we've got about 2 tonnes of turf sitting outside the house waiting to be layed. The poor blokes doing the garden have been up to their ankles in mud for the last few days. They can't lay it on a pond!

I recon it's just getting all the rain out of the way now so that we get a scorching summer. Bet there will still be a drought though!

I ride all year round on my gixer.

Use weather like this to stamp on back brake to start a skid approaching roundabouts and stuff(empty roads at 5:30am!),then off the brakes and onto the throttle as the bike twists to one side.

Treat it as practice for if/when the poo hits the fan and I have to take evasive action in bad weather.Better than piling into something in a straight line.
