This is my first post. A few years ago I moved from Surrey to East Kent and mothballed my bike. I assume the there is still a gathering at Box Hill on Sunday's, it going to be a long ride so can anyone give me times etc? Also are there any other regular meets in Kent?
Thanks.

I believe there's still lots of people meeting there on a sunny Sunday.

I've not been for a couple of years but was thinking of possibly popping down there this Sunday.

It was a long time ago, but the last time I went to Box Hill, the plod were making thier presence felt big time to the point that bikers were drifting away.
Sadly the same at Chelsea Bridge Mad

Cheers, Just got to do a couple of bits to it and get it off a SORN and away I go. This Sunday "might" be a bit soon but it would be nice to get back in to it all again.

Mad

Same thing happened at Highgate common in the Midlands.
Used to be an awesome gathering of bikes every sunny sunday but numbers dwindled as the police presence increased.
Does anyone know if bikers still meet at Highgate Common now?

To be honest it was like that the last time I went. Speed cameras and loads of bike old bill. No more watching my mate pull half mile wheelies. Crying or Very sad

Yeah I know it's all my mate fault and I'll never forgive him for that. He was great fun before he died pulling that wheelie at box hill Liar

There's no more "entertainment" any more there (or any other bike meet in the south that I am aware of). You can have a cuppa, chat to your mates and look at bikes parked up. No half mile wheelies, burn outs or general tomfoolery going on.

Check out wessons cafe if you want a bite to eat - it's over near you https://www.wessonscafe.com/ or Bury Hill https://buryhillbikers.com/forumtest/ https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=50.888741,-0.576568&hl=en&num=1&t=m&z=15
