Hi,

I've ordered some new bulbs for the bike, and brought a kit on eBay which specifically said H7 bulb kit and I left a message with the purchase stating that these were definiatly H7 bulbs. Kit comes through and they are H4 bulbs Thumbs Down

Anyhow, does anyone know if these work in the GSXR 600 K3? The Haynes manual states that Europe use H7 and America uses H4.

The bit where I'm confused is that, both bulbs at the moment (one is not working hence the replacement) are H7 but looking this up, H7 does not include high beams - so how does the high beam work on the bike?

Any thoughts would be great Thumbs Up

H7 are single filament bulbs. If one's not working, then chances are that's the high beam! One side deals with the dipped, and the other deals with the highs. It's because the design of the reflector causes the light to be foussed on different parts of the road.

There's a likelihood that your other light wasn't broken. Have you tested the high beam yet? Hit the flasher or high beam and you will notice both sides of your headlight cluster will illuminate!
