I havent listened to anything yet that will encourage being silly - and worry when I do. Since a young age I imagined listening to Slayer while riding a Ninja and worried what the consequences might be.

But this morning, all around the coast on beautifully clear roads at 5.30am, it was Neil Young, and I felt like I was in heaven.

Highway Star... Smile

Anything by Black Sabbath.

Lamb of God would be the ultimate track to kill yourself by, my favourite being descending or blacken the cursed sun.

I like listening to music when I'm out.

I tend to overthink what's happening and tense up with the 'YOU MIGHT DIE' prospects. If I have music on, it gives my brain something to listen to and as a result, relaxes me. I actually feel I'm a better rider with my 'white noise' going on in the background.

I have all sorts going on in my 'on the road' list, I can be listening to Vltava one second, getting a dose of Johnny Cash the next and two minutes later Linkin Park might roll around.

For some reason Blondie's 'One way or another' makes me bad. *shifty eyes*

Not quite that I might die, but I tend to use music while snowboarding for the very same reason. It improves my flow incredibly and stops me getting twitchy when things get, er, twitchy

My headphones are really small "in ear" ones. Even without the music on they cancel out a lot of the noise around me, so everything is muffled, life having your fingers in your ears. It's quite surreal. I had to take 'em out yesterday because I was convinced the bike felt different to normal. Turns out it was fine, but it was weird all the same.

With my headphones on, I can't hear my engine, so I ride all over the place in second. I know it's screaming, but I don't give a damn Thumbs Up
