Getting hacked off with lacing up my 9 hole boots so I'm going for a proper pair around the £70 mark.

So I've narrowed it down to Spada Wave or RST Raptor?

Same price, same boot?

I had a pair of Raptors, they lasted less than a year before the really thin leather split where it creases next to the plastic gear change pad thing.

Admittedly I used them through the winter they got all salted up and I could have cleaned them and treated them better, but even still I don't really recommend them.

Spada are usually well made and well priced, they tend to be a narrow fitting if that helps.
