Fully derestricted you should have 20-21bhp r/w. It would depend on the exact tuning of you bike, jetting and how much better than the std pipe the DEP one actually is. A good pipe would add up to around 2bhp over an unrestricted std pipe, but re-jetting to get it spot on would be worth a bhp or 2, over just bolting it on. You sa the P.V. is set at half open? this does not work too well in practice, as its not a variable system as operated by the servo motor. It opens fully at a set rpm, say 6.5k e.g. and would snap closed again below this engine speed. Either fit the servo motor and related parts, or leave the P.V. fully open or fully closed, for best results.

My cagiva supercity is full power, the manual says it has 34bhp as its uses mito engine but has larger carb (34mm) and the exhaust diameter is slightly larger. On mine the front wheel lifts it first and second but a couple of times i have opened her up in the wrong place and the back spins when i don't expect it to. Any idea on what the rear wheel power should be around on mine, cant really be bothered to fork out to have it dyno'd. Getting a RGV 250 soon which should be a lot more fun.

Keith should be able to tell you pretty much exactly what it would make, but im guessing that its somewhere between 26-29bhp r/w. My KMX200 has a claimed 30bhp, but the dyno fig i saw for one was 24.8bhp@7800. When ive rebuilt mine and fitted a 35mm carb, and a bit of tuning i want to see 30bhp at the rear wheel, which should not be too difficult to reach without losing all the midrange.

Hi

Not sure of the exact power figure. However I would guess at around the 26~29hp as well. The Mito engine is much the same tune as the Aprilia 125 engines, and the Aprilia Rally with the 34mm carb made 26.5hp while the RS125 with a 34mm carb made 28.5hp (both from PB road tests).

All the best

Keith
