Hello from a Newbie

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I have spent a couple of months lurking on your fine forum, having decided to forge my career on two wheels this summer and feel it's about time I introduced myself.

I'm Stuart, I'm 21, from Glasgow, and currently while away my time as a student/lighting and sound engineer.

I did my CBT last August, having been bi(ke)-curious since I was 16, and caught the bug. Didn't have the cash to do anything more about it at the time, but about two months ago I bought a very cheap CG125, and have spent the rainy/exam season amassing various bits and bobs to put it back on the road. I'm just waiting for next month's wages to come through to get it insured, buy some gear and get on the road. I'm sure once that happens, I'll have lots of noob-esque questions for you all!

Current plan is to bimble around on the CG for a bit, and sit my mods before the licence changes. I'll stick to the tiddler for a bit, then maybe upgrade to a restricted 'big bike' once funds allow. To be honest, the YBR I sat my CBT on excited me much more than my clapped-out Fiesta has in several years! Laughing
