Hi, how do I go about finding out my colour code?
It would usually be on the frame but it has had a colour change so I am guessing that would unlikely to of been updated.
The bike is a 2005 Kawasaki z750 in orange.
Reason is because I am putting a race seat style unit on it but it comes unpainted.
thanks, Grant

It should be on the VIN plate, which is riveted near the headstock. Probably has a 3+3 letter and number code, something like "ORG 17H" (for Orange).

Might also be on the V5.

Not likely if the colours been changed. Is it an offical kwak colour? If not, you might need to find out from whoever sprayed it.

Sorry - was thinking about finding the original colour. If it has been re-sprayed, the best way to get an exact match would be to take it to a vehicle paint specialist. They can mix to an exact match, even when the original colour code is known, but has faded with time.

470 was good for up to July 2004, but OP stated 2005 bike, which would have been 17H.
