I know cush drives should have a little play in them, like with the brake on u can usually move it a wee bit however thats not my problem. It does move a very tiny bit when you do this but im not worried about that. Im worried that you can pull it out the wheel kinda thing. Its kinda hard to explain ..
Like my sprocket is on a plate and behind the plate is obviously the rubber bush type things that are in my wheel. Now when i grab my sprocket i can pull it toward me. Not twist in the direction of the wheel, but actually pull the sprocket and the plate its attached onto away from the wheel. If i were to hold the left hand side of my sprocket and the right i can wobble it, though not just the sprocket the plate the sprockets on will move . You can only pull it say 6 mm .
Little pic
(not my bike)

Errm . . i have been having a pillion the past few months and iv been doing lots of wheelies to. so thats going to put stress on it.
im gonna strip it all down tomorrow but anybody know what the crack is ? Im still riding the bike, slowely. As it isnt really hindering the way it rides and its not like the sprocket or plate can come off . . . is it Neutral

Cheers chaps

How far can you pull it towards yourself? A cm or so is normal I'd have thought?

Either spacer it out if you really wanted, or it could be your axle hasn't got a big enough spacer on it. It should be pretty obvious.
