Anybody have any previous experienced they are willing to share?

I am currently looking for a small area of land to practice for enduro/H&H and general technical riding.

Currently considering approaching The woodland trust/Forestry commission and the MOD after I have identified a number of suitable sites.
The MOD site in question already has a karting club which may give me some leverage.
The woodland trust/forestry commission forest in question already holds and enduro Biennially.

Cheers.

If I were you I'd go to four marks or enduroland, or the little london Enduro park.

I suspect he already knows of those and at least goes to Enduroland.

Generally seems to be 'who you know' - local farmers with some forestry being the obvious example.

Problem with any big organisation is they've got all sorts of insurance liability to worry out. More, there's the worry you'll attract people who haven't asked permission.

Suspect you'd have a lot more chance with MOD then Forestry commission; but ideally you'd have a contact inside that wanted to play who could then bring you along as a friend.
