Going to keep it simple.

Pedestrians who think they have more right to use the road than me in the city centre.

Pedestrians who slow down whilst crossing the road when I have just pulled out of a junction and giving me a snotty look. Cue a middle finger and me very nearly stopping to smack his stupid husked up prune of a face.

Cyclists in the dark who ride in the middle of a pitch black road with no lights and drinking lager. Cue me slowing to a crawl and shouting "PUT SOME FUCKING LIGHTS ON YOUR BIKE". Darwin I hope.

Lorries who stop just after a sharp bend, then walking INFRONT of you whilst you are overtaking said lorry. He stopped and walked back at the last second, like fuck am I going to stop for you buddy. Could have poked him in the bollocks I was so close.

Thats my rant over. Stay tuned more next week. Rolling Eyes

have you thought about carrying a concealed weapon for these occassions, the MAC-10 and indeed Glock 17 are fantastic anti-pedestrian tools.

That's probably because if they had already started crossing before you joined the road, they have right of way. The giveway line at the junction means don't enter the road if you would come into conflict with any road user already using it

I had two encounters with idiots texting and stepping out in front of me yesterday. An open face helmet allows me the chance to hurl abuse at them and they can understand every word.

I love letting pedesdtrians through .. etc .. busy junction at rush hour other day, 2 birds and pram, they said about 20 cars had blanked them ..

I said your gotta love bikers ...

We tear about and make noise, filter legally to annoyance .. weve gotta where we can, imprint good images onto peeps, they will remember such things, and in conversations later on, will defend us more. Thumbs Up

I dont give a shit about "our" image, i ride a bike for transport they can hate the fuck out of me for all i care. If they step out on a green light whilst im doing 30mph they deserve everything they have coming. (Abuse, not getting knocked over Laughing ).

And they didnt have right of way on the previous occasion.

Did not care if you were, i think hooning and annoying cagers is fair game, but pedestrians, cyclists and horses, in MOST cases, i give them max priority. Thumbs Up

Exactly! You may not have to give way, but you also can't hit them if there was any other option.

Ped steps out immediately in front of you and you hit them - you don't have anything legally to worry about.

Ped standing oblivious in the middle of a road with good visibility and you ride into them 'because you have right of way' and you'll be doing time for dangerous driving.

There seems to be no culture of sharing the road in the UK - everyone thinks they own the bit of road in front of them and having to make the most minor evasive maneuvers riles people beyond belief! I've just been on the bicycle, heading the wrong way down a long one way street and got a 'dank u' from an oncoming driver for pulling in to let him past.

It's especially odd as every time I get back to the UK I find myself falling into the same anger trap as the OP. I see how well it works in other countries, but for some reason UK roads make people especially angry!

God, yeah ...

People step out in front of me all the time with this look on their face:
"You can't possibly mind if I just step out in front of you because I have just been to Harrods! Do you mind!: don't scratch my Harrods shopping bag, I'm going to keep it for my mum."

Others scurry across as you enter Northumberland Ave: "Its Trafalgar Square, and I am a tourist therefore I have the right of way to meander over every crossing."

I notice you rarely get facial expressions like : "I've just been to the Natural History Museum and I'm completely dazed with the beauty of the natural world, so I'll just step out into these three lanes of traffic."

Mac10 is an awkward lump to carry, heavy trigger and on full auto most of the rounds go skywards, a 12 bore sawn off loaded with Baikal BB is a better option.

Personally I get much more hacked off with cars in the countryside doing 40mph in a 50/NSL's, 20mph in 30's and 30mph in 40's.

I have a rule never to cross double white lines (despite there seems to be some secret campaign to put them fkn everywhere now regardless of road conditions / view), but it really is annoying when you come up to a lovely bit of road in a NSL (twisty, new surface, but single lane and double white lines) and some dodgery old git insists on doing 40mph (dropping to under 30 on the bends) all the way. arrrrrrgghhghhghhh! Evil or Very Mad
