I have a NOS RK tank that I would let go for £2000. Makes that look cheap.

800 knicker sounds about right for a NLA 70s NOS tank for a classic bike. It's also made me look to see if I can find one for £500 Twisted Evil

I would have thought around the £250 mark myself, I picked up a NOS tank for my '76 KZ400 for £180, Which I thought was extortionate..

Blimey, i would have thought that would fetch much more Confused was that sold on eBay? What colour?

Blue/white, it had 2 small chips in the paint so wasnt mint. Flogged it to someone I know of who tinkers with RG's.

It came with a job lot of stuff I bought Smile

It also has some value in allowing you to match paint colours with other components like side panels, or even a second bike, should you so wish, as this one is obviously in exactly the correct factory shade of red.

Which is only any good if the panels are brand new and never seen daylight and faded....

How pointless. I'm taking it this is for collectors and not a normal biker? Because I'm pretty sure for that sort of money you could get a replica made up from aluminium.

Unless it's the camera, I can see at least 10 chips/blemishes and the paints bubbling on the right hand seam!

So much for concourse. Rolling Eyes
