It looks like a cross between a busa, and a Tron bike. Sorry, I think the thing's hideous Rolling Eyes . I've heard of fully faired, but that bike's the equivalent of those weird cars that only have half the rear wheel showing Confused .

that is the Nuda?

it's almost 20 years old Shocked

"The Nuda was a concept bike (a one of a kind experimental model, not for sale), shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 1986. It was a high-tech dream bike that never went to production.

It is claimed that the previous year's Suzuki concept bike Falcorustyco was a non-running exhibition model with a fake engine, but the Nuda was a fully operational bike good for 280 km/h, using a GSX-R750 engine.

Like the Falcorustyco, even the Nuda two-wheel drive and hub-steer, but while the Falcorustyco had hydraulics drive, the Nuda used a more conventional shaft drive (if you say that two-wheel drive on a motorcycle is conventional). Nuda had even some other high-tech features that have not yet gone into production. "

Reminds me of the old Norton 'Kneeler' racing bike from quite a while ago. Does exactly what it say's, you knelt on the fairing I think. Maybe thats what you have to do if you are insane enough to take something that grotesque (love that word) out on the road!

I'm taking a wild guess and saying that you place your feet on that bronze/copper triangle bit on the belly of the bike, but you have to 'tuck' your feet in on it. Unless the rear circular bolt bit is where you put it? Either one of the two is my guess anyway! Looks like the slot on the side might be where the rear brake is as well?

hey guys first post here,

that thing is the suzuki nuda. it went to the tokyo motor show in 86. that thing actually ran, it was a gsxr750 powered thing. it was said by suzuki to top out at 175 mph. the year before suzuki brought this thing

https://www.honda-geneve.com/F6/design/SuzukiFalcorustyco.JPEG

that falcorustyco. it had a fake engine in it.

the down low

the nuda was 2wd and hub steer, yeah twd. it was shaft drive while the falcorustyco was supposed to be hydraulic with no gear box (fake still but they tried real hard)

that falcorustyco was very fake. suzuki claimed it to be a 500cc water cooled engine(1985 guys) with 16valves and 3 camshafts. brakes were electromagnetic as well as the suspension was electronicly controlled. while it was never produced, the word falcorustyco in latin is gyrfalcon. another word for that, hayabusa.

no one ever confirmed the falcorustyco to run or do anything really. since the motor was a fake and the idea of a two wheel hyrdostatic drive with no gearbox in 85 was nothing but a dream for bikes. the steering was hyraulic also(supposedly).

the bikes are to admired as bad as they are. they were trying to take the next step in motorcycles but were not able to do it for a price people would pay. i think suzuki was trying to beat tony foal to the punch.

1987 tony was riding these gsxr750 powered bikes around.

and 1984 QL(quantum leap)

some crazy designs, none of them stuck, thank fully Razz

You say that.... but the 'busa is almost as ugly....

Good post shift, very interesting, though I can't say we'll be petitioning Suzuki to start producing one.
