Anybody got one? I really like the look of this:

https://nexxhelmets.co.uk/products/default.aspx?idioma=pt1&idcont=7650&title=core

The white colour is cool too, but what's the difference between "WHITE ARCTIC" and "WHITE GLAM" Is the second one reflective or metallic or something? Can't really tell from the pictures.

They look pretty futuristic / cool, however I had to laugh at the 'chin crash protection' bit on the bottom.

R U SRS? CHIN BAR IS 4 PROTECT CHIN?

2 words:

Wind.

Noise.

That is all.

Err ... that's not a Nexx. Thanks for your input though, at least you tried. Thumbs Up

Suit yourself. Doesn't matter how many you try on in the shop, you're not going to know how noisy it is until you put it on and go over 40mph - by which time most shops won't exchange it.

Going by the visual cues in the photos, that thing has bits poking out that might look "cool", but are going to disrupt airflow at speed, translating into noise for the wearer. Generally, flip-up lids don't have a very good reputation for quietness, so if nothing else, invest in some good hearing protection if you get one of those.

For once, I'm not being sarcastic. Shocked

Really? What gave it away - the AGV logo, Guy Martin's logo or the K3 profile?

His Lordship wasn't asking what colour Nexxus I had, he was telling me to shut up because (he rightly suspected) I didn't have one.

I've always worn flip-ups cos I'm a speccy four-eyes, so I don't know no better. I do wear earplugs though.

£135 is more than I've ever paid for a helmet too, but I might fork out the extra for this one ...

I found a review of it:

https://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/nexx-x30/

and while it's pretty positive, it does reveal that you can't open the visor!

There may come a day when they design a visor that doesn't mist up, but it is not this day.

What a stupid design, I won't be buying this after all.

^ My last helmet was a Konda - misted up something rotten due to crap ventilation and the front was a PITA to open. It did a very good job when I smashed my face into the tarmac, but even that doesn't make up for the misting, it was really that bad. Brick Wall

Just in case anyone's interested:

Dear LordShaftesbury,

Answering your request, there is a big difference between colors White Glam and White Artic.

White Glam is a king of pearl, metallic color very hard to show in a picture. Currently we have no better pictures to show you; only an old one of a discontinued model, the XR1.R Glam; please see attachment.

White Artic is a profound white, true white as the name suggests.

I hope this might have helped; as soon as we have new better pictures we will upload them in the website.

Many thanks for your contact and interest in our products!

So the difference between the colours is that the white glam looks totally gay:
