I have just recently brought an aprilia rs 125 and would like to know a few things as i'm no mechanics or have much knowledge on bikes.

it doesn't rev above 8000-9000RPM
when in neutral it revs at 5,000 and gradually builds up
It will not go over 50MPH with a power valve fitted.

basically i would like some help/advise on what i can do or look at to try and find out/fix the problem.

also what is the original speedo drive for the aprilia rs 125 2000?

Remove the spark plug and see what colour it is.

Wait till its warm before you rev it that high.
