Pirelli Angel ST on ZX9R

So I had to get a new set of tyres for my ZX9R.
After browsing a few of the posts on here and on zx-9.net I opted for the Pirelli's as I'm hoping their 24 Hour Endurance Record will give me a fair few miles out of them and they were offering £25 cashback too!

Typically as soon as I got them fitted the weather turned so I've barely been able to scrub them in, but today the sun was shining!
I waited until 7pm in the hope that most of the holiday traffic would have died down.

A slow ride through Alfriston and along the A27 gave the tyres plenty of time to warm up, then started to scrub them in down the A26.
I was really surprised at how much grip there already is even with only 10 miles on them.
Once I got onto the A259 I had a bit more confidence and was able to lean even further over.
Yesterday I was fitted with an ECG monitor for 7 day monitoring so perhaps I'll be able to see my heartrate go up during the ride!

So all in all I can thoroughly recommend the Pirelli Angel ST tyres.
Even in the rain they give much more grip than the Bridgestone Batlaxx.
Will post again hopefully in 6,000 miles time when they need changing
