Hi,

Finally picked up my ER-5 from the dealership today after an agonising 3 week wait!!!

Weather up here was fantastic too - couldn't have asked for any better

Been out blasting round the local roads with a huge grin all day - I'm glad I went for the ER-5 - it's a comfortable amount of power and gives me confidence in my riding, I'm already noticing that I'm taking corners alot quicker than on the NSR. It's pretty nippy too - hitting a ton quite easily on the straights (easy to me coming from a 125!).

So yeah, very happy with it. Does everything I need in a bike.

Also, the immobiliser had flattened the battery sitting in the shop so I got a new battery for free!!!

Tomorrow is cleaning time me thinks and some photos to show you all.

Also - just to add...

It's got 2 new tyres on it (well VERY recently anyway):

The rear is a Bridgestone Battlax BT020.
The front is a Bridgestone BT45.

These tyres any good?

Hi

Not bad tyres on their own, but I doubt that is a recommended combination. The BT45 is a cross ply while the BT020 is a radial (I think). The combination that way round is legal, but isn't the other way round.
