Can't fault my akito bottoms.

Ebay holds many deals. Although if and when summer hits you are going to fry!

Whatever you do, do not buy Weise.

If you need me to elaborate then I will, but "shit" accurately sums up my opinion of Weise textiles and boots.

Spada enforcers are my winter gloves... May have to rethink my choice when winter rolls round based on that feedback!

Well I bought their textile trousers and jacket and they started falling apart straight away. Put up with them throughout winter but it's time for some new ones when it gets cold again.

Ooops...

I have the Weise NRG pants....they are not bad, keep me nice and dry. The only fault I have with them is that the ankles are WAY too small, can't fit them over my boots!

I've had Akito and RST textiles for some years, and would happily recommend them for year round comfort.
Thankfully (for me) I've never needed to test their absasion resistance by sliding down the road, but the stitching and general quality seems very good IMO

^ Also have RST. I have an RST textile Razor jacket and leather Razor trousers that I've had for about 10 months and they still look like new. The other month I bought an RST leather Slice jacket and love it.

Some brands i.e. Dainese and Alpinestar charge top end prices for top end gear, but other brands i.e. RST charge mid end prices for top end gear.

To be fair, I've had a pair of Buffalo textile trousers for 2 years now, used almost daily all year round and they've been fine. They sometimes let a bit of damp through around the crotch area, but only in the very worst weather when the seat is already wet. Not fallen off in them though so can't say how well they'd hold up to sliding down tarmac.
