York dealers or frame builders around 1971

Hi Lads,
Trying to trace history of a York Dealer (Triumph) circa 1971 I believe his Name was Jack Cawthorne and ran Jax Motorcycles in York, it is still in business to-day as a Yamaha dealer and when the new owner took over the business, kept the name of the shop, the original owner passed away some 5 years.

I believe I have a frame called a "JAX Special" originally can any of you Lads in York can shed some on the man his business and if details of frames made he?
