Hey everyone. Just joined these forums, i'l tell a little bit about myself.

Name : Adam
Age : 16
Occupation : School. Leave for exams in 15 days.
Location : West yorkshire, england.
Driving : A Yamaha Aerox 50cc scooter. Sounds like a hairdryer, but inspired my love for 2 wheels rather than 4, and gets me to and from school everyday. Wink

Glad i finally found a place to see what the "big boys" of biking discuss. Very Happy

Aha! You can spell, but the dead giveaway that you are new to the forum is lack of capital I's when referring to yourself. Same with you Dup, there is a Karma buffer that lets new members off little indiscretions like this, but if you're not careful you will lose Karma and the worst case scenario is you will be automatically banned.

Please use capital I's when referring to oneself.

Hey, I don't make the rules, I'm just letting you know! Thumbs Up

Hopefully by hanging out here (watch - some can\do bite) you'll be super-clued up by the time you get onto a big bike!

When are you 17? I can suggest an NSR as a first good bike mate Thumbs Up

Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum mate, if I was after a scoot i'd prolly get an Aerox as they're pretty sharp (as far as scoots go). Get youself an NSR in due time mate, and enjoy the difference in performance Thumbs Up Very Happy .

In the meantime, welcome dude Smile .

lol, well as you can see we all prefer nsr's as the bike for the 17yr old! But seriously yea! You have to get an nsr, they are the best 125 around and I’m not just saying that because I have one, lol!

Welcome to the forum dude!

Sod the nsr, you'll cry WHEN you drop it, get an Rxs100 or H100 like I did, maybe not as fast, but a heck of alot cheaper and probably more reliable, those things run for years! Thumbs Up

Thanks for all the welcomes lads! Very Happy

At the moment I'm saving for my bike next year. Once i hit 17 in march i want to take my bike test, and go buy myself a bike that will handle long distances, as i'm wanting go touring to france with my dad, uncle and cousin. I was thinking something like a Kawasaki ZZR600? Would a 600 be too costly on insurance with it being my first bike? I think i'l have to look a look into it.
