Hi guys 2000 Citroën xsara door locks are seized on both drivers and passenger door , not a problem as it has central locking but the car isn't been used apart from been moved to get the bike out of the garage , so the battery dies once in a while .

Anyone know how to free the locks ? The key goes in fine but it won't turn at all ! I've wacked some wd in but it hasn't helped at all .

Cheers
Marco

you can remove the locks from the car disassemble them and remove the lock tumblers, this will free the lock but allow any key to open the door which is not very secure, i use a spray from wurth called rost off crafty, its good at disolving rust.

Hope this helps

WD or liquid wrench, liberal application and keep working it gently, dont break the key off in the lock. Also make sure its the correct key Mr. Green
