They are £250 but if the stitching will just disentegrate in a crash then theres no point in buying them.

The Spool website is here mate. https://www.spool-bikewears.com/gb/spool.htm

Is it 1pce or 2pce leathers you are after?

Only reason I'm asking is that Busters usually have a good deal on Texport leathers. They tend to have the deals in their flyers that they send out, I've seen one recently but I didn't keep it. Texport tend to get very good reviews for the money.

I've seen them selling these for around £300.

https://www.motorcyclenews.com/products/buyingguide/detail?sectionID=50719&documentID=53584&2sectionID=50719&2documentID=53580

I even phoned and enquired about them, thinking I bet they've all gone or have got very limited sizes. They had my size in, in both colours. Might be worth a call?

I've got the RST Leather bottoms and a Synth jacket.

I've been off a few times on various bikes at varying speeds. Apart from the leather scuffing, the stitching seems to have held up... I will warn you though, if you do a lot of town riding, they will look grubby quickly, especially the white trim.

From the pic I'm guessing that you've been looking at Harpers... That's where I got my gear from Very Happy They were very helpful seeing as it was my first time there. Not sure if they are 100% the cheapest around, but they had what I wanted. And £800 well spent I think Smile

Anyway, I hope that you get what you want!

I've got a set of the Kevlar Trouser's, padded, tough, but the stitching came out on the inside and mother had to sew em up again, cost about £80, i think RST's are a sort of middle class thing, good material's, but shit manufacturing.

ive got RST leathers, dont know the name exactly, but when i was trying them on, they felt exactly the same as my first set of leathers, they even had the same labels, but with RST on instead of Riossi

as i crashed in my first leathers on a motorway and nothing gave way, im inclined to trust them, which is why i got the RST ones...only down side is one of the knees has slightly different armour position to the other knee and it digs in, and i cant seem to move it, but after a while you dont notice anymore

I have a set of RST Dark 1 piece, and I find them to be great.

I have not "had an off", but they are comfy as hell.

I have a set of RST Spectre leathers, they're comfy, but the white trim is now brown. The stitching holding the collar velcro thing on is beginning to pull off, which doesn't really inspire confidence.
When i crash in them i'm going to buy some nice A*.

You may find that Alpinestars don't fit particularly well if you are tall and thin, especially if you look at their 1pce suits. They tend to be quite a wide fit around the backside and across the back. I find that Dainese fit better they seem to be fitted properly across both areas for me, if that is the sort of thing you want.

I actually have an Alpinestars 1pce even though I've got the nick I have, but I've tried on a few off the peg Dainese suits and they fit very well. I do have a couple of Dainese Jackets and jeans though (just justifying my name!).

RST leathers are not the same as Riossi leathers. And I've got the RST Protex which you should know yams, and they're good.
