With rain still falling on the island and hill fog on the mountain section the Clerk of the Course has made an early announcement that today's racing is postponed until tomorrow morning.

What's the forecast for Saturday, do you think they'll get any more racing in?

I was asked yesterday what would happen if one year it rains solidly during the TT week with no sign of it stopping. I had to admit I didn't know, although I assume it would be cancelled?

The forecast for Saturday looks better and they are going to try and run the twins in the morning and the senior in the afternoon. There is a road closure option available for Sunday afternoon if needed but Marshall numbers would be a serious issue by then.

If it's anywhere near as windy as here they won't want to race!

Well I'm currently sitting in the Quids Inn in Douglas, slowly getting pissed, hoping they do race tomorrow. It was not much fun pitching a tent in the rain yesterday, it was even less fun waiting to see if Flybe could locate my bag, as they managed to lose it. Finally got it at 10pm last night, the joys of camping.

You can listen to the commentary on manxradio365.com and follow the timings on TT live.

Nobody films it and broadcasts live. It would be extremely impractical.

Looks like its all change again

The schedule for the final day of racing at the 2012 Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy has been revised by Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson.
Friday's schedule was postponed due to bad weather, and racing was due to get under way at 10.45am today.
However, a one hour delay was announced earlier today and, following a review of the weather at 9.30am, the Mr Thompson announced a revised schedule.
The Mountain section of the course is now due to close at 12.30pm with the rest of the course closing at 1pm.
The BikerPetition.co.uk Lightweight, over three laps, is now expected to get away at 1.45pm, followed by the Monster Energy Parade Lap and the PokerStars Senior, over 6 laps.

Rain still off and roads drying but very thick hill fog over the mountain. The fog will have to lift before racing can commence as the airmed helicopter can't operate in foggy conditions.
