just in the process of getting the garage sorted to store the bike, what sort of area do i need to store the bike, also it will have to go through on alley way of about 1m wide - now sorted access now more like 1.5m. the maximum area I can get clear is1.3m x 2.4m which should be plenty for a 125cc bike, i'm looking for something like a nc700 or transalp once test passed so should be ok?

the only other place to store the bike is on the drive, this slopes down from the road, can a bike be easy parked on a slope?

just edited the post to make it make more sense!

If you can fit your bike in it, you're fine Thumbs Up

An area big enough for your bike.

If the bike is less than 1m wide.

In all seriousness, it depends on the size of your bike! Obviously a Goldwing would take up more space than a moped. You get what I mean.

Take a tape measure or a bit of string and measure your bike (or the bike you want) at the widest point and compare it against the alley way at the thinnest point. If the thinnest point is bigger than the widest point on your bike, you're good to go!

As for the garage, put your bike on the side stand and measure how much room it takes up width wise. Then add about 2 feet to that so you have enough room to paddle the bike in to the garage and actually get off the bike and walk out of the garage. Obviously measure the length too.

Yep. Just leave it in gear.
